We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised and proactive International Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our team on an initial six-month fixed-term contract, starting in January 2027.

The successful candidate will support CAPTURE's international sales, marketing, acquisitions and distribution activities, working closely with the sales team across a diverse slate of feature films.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for film and an interest in the commercial side of the industry to gain hands-on experience in international film sales and distribution.

CAPTURE is an international film sales company specialising in the worldwide distribution of feature films across a range of genres. Working closely with producers, filmmakers and distributors around the world, CAPTURE brings films to the international marketplace, developing tailored sales and marketing strategies to maximise their global potential.

Key Responsibilities:

International Sales & Acquisitions

• Support the sales team with preparations for key international film markets, including EFM, Cannes and AFM.
• Maintain and regularly update the international sales contact database.
• Manage the acquisitions project log, tracking submissions, project status and evaluations.
• Read scripts and prepare coverage reports.

Marketing & Communications

• Support the development and coordination of marketing materials for CAPTURE's film slate.
• Prepare marketing mailers and promotional communications for upcoming sales titles.
• Assist with managing CAPTURE's social media channels, including preparing, scheduling and publishing content.
• Provide general support across marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.

Distribution

• Maintain and regularly update CAPTURE's international distribution database.
• Liaise with international distributors to collect key release information and updates.
• Track theatrical, digital and other releases across the company's film slate.

About You

Essential Skills & Qualities

• A genuine passion for film and an interest in the international film industry.
• Excellent organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Applicants must have the Right to work in UK. 

Desirable, but Not Essential

• Previous experience in film, media, marketing, communications or a related field.
